According to authorities, around 06:00, members of the Immigration and Asylum Service (IAS) entered an apartment on the 5th floor of a building in the city center, following coordinated intelligence that undocumented foreigners were residing there.

Upon realizing the presence of the IAS members, two individuals attempted to escape. One leaped from the bedroom window, landing on the balcony of another apartment, and tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the second person jumped from the balcony, sustaining serious injuries and was rushed to Limassol General Hospital.
