Limassol is known as the party capital when it comes to carnival celebrations, and this Sunday showed just that.
In a video taken on Sunday 6th March and posted on social media, hundreds of people were seen partaking in carnival celebrations on Saripolou Square without concern for covid protective measures. People were shown dancing and singing without proper social distancing and defying covid protocols.
Comments on social media criticized party-goers, calling on their stupidity and that cases were set to rise again after this incident.
