A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region, leading to brief periods of increased cloudiness today. These clouds may bring isolated, mostly light showers in the mountains and the eastern half of the island by early afternoon.
Winds will start from the southwest to northwest at 3 Beaufort, increasing to 3 to 4 Beaufort and reaching 5 Beaufort on the southern coast by afternoon. The sea will become slightly turbulent. Temperatures will reach around 36°C inland, 32°C on the west coast, 34°C on the other coasts, and 28°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, though the western areas may see some temporary low cloud cover. Winds will be mainly westerly to northwesterly at 2 to 3 Beaufort, and the sea will gradually calm. Temperatures will drop to around 24°C on the west coast, 25°C inland and on other coasts, and 17°C in the higher mountains.
Friday and Saturday are expected to be mostly clear, with some local cloud development during the midday and afternoon, potentially bringing isolated showers in the Highlands and possibly inland. By Sunday afternoon, cloud buildup could result in isolated rain or thunderstorms in the mountains or interior. Temperatures will gradually rise slightly through Sunday, remaining close to average for this time of year.
