A weak low-pressure system is affecting the area, bringing a mix of clear skies and increased cloud cover. After the resolution of local sparse fog and low cloud this morning, the weather will become mostly clear. However, clouds will increase over the mountains during the midday hours and later.
Winds will initially blow from the southeast to southwest, locally variable, at a weak 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to mainly southwest to northwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain calm to slightly turbulent. Temperatures are expected to rise to around 38 degrees Celsius (100 Fahrenheit) in the interior, about 30 degrees (86 Fahrenheit) on the west coast, approximately 32 degrees (90 Fahrenheit) along the other coastal areas, and 28 degrees (82 Fahrenheit) in the higher mountains.
Tonight, mostly clear skies will persist, with increased low cloud cover developing later. During the early morning hours, locally sparse fog or fog is expected, particularly in the interior and eastern areas. Winds will become katabatic, remaining weak at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will stay calm to slightly turbulent. Temperatures will drop to around 23 degrees (73 Fahrenheit) in the interior and on the south and east coasts, about 24 degrees (75 Fahrenheit) on the west and north coasts, and roughly 19 degrees (66 Fahrenheit) in the higher mountains.
Looking ahead, the weather on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be mostly clear. During the evening and early morning hours, local formations of sparse fog or low cloud cover are expected. Temperatures will gradually rise through Thursday, staying above average climatic values. However, a slight temperature drop is anticipated on Friday.
