Speak up, kids! Your voice matters on EKFRACY

Government launches EKFRACY platform to connect with youth

Newsroom

President Nikos Christodoulides announced an exciting new online platform called EKFRACY (Expression) on Tuesday, aimed at engaging young people aged 15 to 18 in shaping their future.

Launching in the afternoon, EKFRACY is designed to create a direct line of communication between the government and youth, allowing them to voice their opinions on important issues like education, housing, and the environment. Christodoulides stressed the importance of young people participating in decisions that affect their lives.

“You have the chance to make your voices heard and help shape the policies that matter to you,” he said in a video message. “We want to hear your ideas!”

The platform will include regular questionnaires where users can share their views on pressing topics. The first discussion will focus on housing, a major concern for many young Cypriots looking for affordable options.

Maria Miltiadous from the Cyprus Youth Organisation (ONEK) encouraged youth to jump in and participate: “This is your chance to speak up and influence change!”

Young people can create profiles at www.EKFRACY.com.cy to start sharing their thoughts. The platform will also feature live discussions with government officials, making it a unique opportunity for direct interaction. Don’t miss out—join EKFRACY and help shape a brighter future for Cyprus!
