Mostly clear skies bring a breath of fresh air on Monday and for a good part of the week, as a high pressure weather system has moved in over Cyprus.
According to weather officials, Monday skies will be mostly clear with moderate winds while the sea will remain relatively calm throughout the day.
Temperature highs are expected to reach 32 degrees Celsius inland, around 28 in the eastern and northern parts, 26 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 24 high up in the mountains.
Evening weather is expected to remain mostly clear throughout the night, with thin fog forming over local areas in the early morning hours along with low clouds.
Temperature lows will drop down to 16 degrees in the interior and along the coast, while it will be 13 high up in the mountains.
Noticeable rise in temperature is expected in the coming days gradually with mostly clear weather continuing Tuesday through Thursday, when levels will be above normal averages for this time of the year.
