Violence erupts in Limassol, two injured in family brawl (vid)

Police respond to clash between Syrian families

A tumultuous altercation erupted Thursday night, June 27, in Limassol, resulting in injuries to two individuals.

Police reported receiving a tip-off around 9:00 p.m. indicating that approximately 50 individuals from two separate Syrian families were engaged in a brawl on King Pavlos Avenue.

Law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene, prompting the involved parties to disperse upon their arrival.

During the altercation, two individuals, aged 43 and 29, sustained injuries, while six vehicles belonging to one of the families were damaged.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
