Namaste Cyprus is a celebration of the friendship and cultural ties between India and Cyprus. Slated to be a grand cultural extravaganza with Indian classical dances, exhibition of folk and bollywood dance performances; vocal renditions of Indian music and an array of Indian cuisine, this event is a tribute to the enduring bonds our two nations have nurtured over decades, built on respect and a genuine warmth that transcends geography.
India and Cyprus, though separated by distance, are united by a common heritage of ancient civilizations. Both our countries have a profound respect for history, tradition, and the arts. From the rhythmic grace of Indian classical dance to the lyrical beauty of Cypriot folk music, our cultures speak the same language of harmony, creativity, and community. Namaste Cyprus offers an immersive experience of India’s rich diversity, from its music, dance, crafts, and cuisine to its philosophy and way of life. It is also an occasion to showcase the many threads that connect India and Cyprus.
