Cypriot radio personality, influencer, and content creator Panagiota Charalambous, known online as @pan.dragomir, recently shared a deeply empowering body-positive video that has captivated fans and followers alike. In the video, Pan responded to hurtful comments she received, including remarks like "You became a whale" and "You are fat," with a message that strikes at the heart of self-love and solidarity.

While the negativity of these comments might have been tough for some, Pan made it clear that such comments don’t affect her—at least not in the way they might affect others. With a bright smile and a playful tone, she quipped, "Negative comments may not affect me (I think that’s pretty clear in the video)," but she quickly pivoted to a more important message.

The heart of her video was a powerful reminder to women and youngsters, especially young girls, who face body-shaming and bullying both online and offline. Pan acknowledged that while she may brush off negative comments, there are countless others—especially teenagers and young women—who are deeply impacted by such cruelty. She shared her concern for the girls who endure bullying at school and online, often leading them to take extreme measures to fit into society's narrow beauty standards. She noted how heartbreaking it is that some girls go so far as to starve themselves in order to meet unrealistic expectations.

"Girls starving themselves just to ‘fit in’…" Pan shared. "If you are one of these girls, I want you to remember one thing: I LOVE YOU, AND I’M WITH YOU. Always and forever."

Her words hit home for many, and the video quickly went viral, with viewers flooding the comment section to express their gratitude and share their own stories of struggle. Pan’s message was more than just a response to online trolls; it was a heartfelt rallying cry for self-love, body acceptance, and solidarity among women.

What makes Pan’s message so powerful is her authenticity. She openly addresses the realities of body-shaming and calls out harmful rhetoric, but she does so with the intention of healing and uplifting others. She’s not just standing up for herself; she’s standing up for anyone who has ever felt less than because of their appearance. In a world where the pressure to conform to a certain image is relentless, Pan's video is a much-needed reminder that everyone deserves to love themselves as they are.

The body-positive movement is gaining momentum, and influencers like Pan are playing a crucial role in spreading this message. With her candid, relatable approach, Pan is proving that self-love isn't just a catchy phrase—it's a powerful tool for healing and empowerment.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, Pan’s message couldn’t be more timely. Before celebrating love with others, she encourages her followers to first and foremost love themselves. In doing so, she challenges the pervasive narrative that beauty is defined by size or appearance.
