The installation of air conditioners in ten schools across the Larnaca district has begun, with a total of 248 units planned for the first phase of the project.
Larnaca's School Board, responsible for managing and overseeing schools, announced that installation work started on September 3 at three schools: A' and D' Aradippou Primary School and Ethnarchis Makarios Primary School in Kokkinis.
By October 18, air conditioners will also be installed in seven additional schools, including Vergina Secondary School, Livadia Secondary School, Athienou Primary School, Larnaca Pancyprian Lyceum, Xylofagou Primary School, Xylotympou Secondary School, and Meneou Primary School.
The Board plans to issue tenders soon to purchase and install air conditioners for the next phase of the project.
