Press Release
Christmas time is here again, and Bean Bar invites us to experience the magic of the most beautiful time of the year and to make the true meaning of the holidays come true by supporting children in need. Bright Christmas lights, decorated trees and festive vibes transform the chain’s stores into warm and cosy Christmas spaces where customers can enjoy the brand’s new Festive Limited Edition flavours, made especially for the season.
Through the campaign “Ho Ho Hope for Children”, which began on 20 November, on World Children’s Day, Bean Bar donates 30% of its proceeds from Christmas products to Hope For Children. Up until 6 January, Bean Bar’s friends will be able to support our fellow human beings in need, by enjoying the products of the brand’s Festive Limited-Edition flavours.
Bean Bar’s Festive selections are unique, with flavours and aromas that evoke childhood memories of Christmas. Specifically, the chain’s Festive Limited-Edition Flavours include the following:
● Hot Chocolate with chestnut flavour
● Hot Chocolate with orange and cinnamon flavour
● The delicious Santa’s Chocolate Cookies, which capture the flavour of the holidays
And for the coffee lovers, this festive period, Bean Bar will be serving its Premium Christmas Blend, a mix of unique blends, combining fruity notes of strawberry with the warmth of cinnamon, cardamom and dark chocolate, creating an unforgettable flavour experience.
A Christmas Videogame
“This year, we experience the holidays through the eyes of children”, according to the slogan of the chain’s Christmas commercial spot this year. Diversity and the right to play, education, freedom and life are the main points of this original Christmas… video game. In a fantasy world, our little heroes, dreamt up by the children of Hope for Children, overcome every obstacle and collect ingredients such as cinnamon, oranges, chestnuts, cookies and chocolate, as well as the chain’s festive cup, creating Bean Bar’s festive flavours, all the while gaining superpowers and extra points. In statements, Bean Bar’s Brand Manager, Antonia Koumettou pointed out: “Christmas is a holiday for children but also an opportunity for every one of us to become children again. This phrase, heard in this imaginative spot, could not better express the philosophy of Bean Bar. Through our ‘Ho Ho Hope For Children’ campaign, we combine the enjoyment of our festive flavours with the revival of our childhood Christmas memories, offering meaningful support to children in need. We put sharing and love into practice, offering our customers a warm experience while contributing to important humanitarian work. We look forward to experiencing the most wonderful time of the year together in our stores, which have been transformed to bring the magic of Christmas to life!”.
It is noted that during the festive period until 6 January, all Bean Bar stores will remain open until 9pm, while the kitchen in the chain’s standalone coffeeshops will also remain open until that time, serving food.
It should also be noted that the chain operates 14 stores, eleven of which are located within Alphamega Hypermarkets. The in-house coffee stores are located in Engomi, Akropoli, Deftera, Astromeritis and Latsia in Nicosia, Skarinou, Kiti and Metropolis Mall in Larnaca, as well as Polemidia, Kapsalos and Trimiklini in Limassol. The company’s three standalone coffeeshops (i.e. not within Alphamega Hypermarkets) are located in Nicosia, on Makariou Avenue and in Limassol, at Kolonaki Avenue and the Old Port.
The chain has also teamed up with popular online food delivery platforms, Foody and Bolt, while Bean Bar customers can also order their favourite Bean Bar products for take-away through the Bean Bar App and collect them from the store of their choice.
