The body of a 26-year-old man who was missing since December 31 was found on Tuesday next to a river in his village in the Limassol district.
The victim, Adamos Adamou was found next to a river at Agios Georgios (Sylikou) where he was a resident. Search crews, who had been on the lookout ever since he went missing on December 31, found the body on Tuesday after spotting a shoe some 50-100m away.
Police and state pathologists rushed to the scene to examine the scene and body.
