Sunny days, gentle breezes, and tranquil seas for water fun

Newsroom

Cyprus coastal regions can look forward to a delightful stretch of weather, thanks to a seasonal low-pressure system and warm air-mass currently in place. These conditions are set to create mostly sunny and agreeable days across the seafront. While some isolated dust particles might linger in the air, overall visibility is expected to be good, with occasional moderate levels.

The sea's surface temperature is predicted to be a comfortable 26°C, making it perfect for all sorts of maritime activities.

No advisories or warnings are in effect, highlighting a calm and safe environment for water-related endeavors throughout the coming days.

For the eastern coastline, a breeze will emerge in the morning from the Northeast to Southeast at 3 beaufort, eventually becoming an East to Southeast flow. The sea will reflect this change with gentle undulations. As the day progresses, the wind will shift to a South to Southwest direction at 3 to 4 beaufort, possibly intensifying at times. The sea conditions will stay mild, occasionally showing slight variations. At night, the wind will adjust again, taking a West to Northwest course at 3 beaufort, and the sea will remain calm.

Up north, a gradual wind shift is expected in the morning, from the Southwest to West at 3 to 4 beaufort, strengthening to a 4. The sea will reflect these changes with a slight demeanor. Later in the day, the wind will change direction to the Southwest to West at 4 beaufort, possibly reaching 4 to 5 in specific areas.
