Unhealthy levels of dust continue to linger in the air today but will gradually decrease as of Friday. Officials are warning people to take care when outdoors as today's dust levels are hazardous for many people especially children, older people and those vulnerable to respiratory ailments.
Today the skies over Cyprus will be mostly clear with increasing medium and high clouds. The winds will blow southwesterly to northwesterly, at 3 to 4 Beauforts. Temperatures will rise to around 28 degrees inland, around 26 on the coast and around 22 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with medium and high clouds. Winds will blow southeast to southwest at 3 to 4 Beauforts. The sea will be a bit rough with temperatures dropping to around 15 degrees inland, 16 on the coast and 13 degrees in the higher mountains.
Partly cloudy skies on Friday with the possibility of isolated showers throughout the day, while strong westerly winds will be predominant from noon onwards.
On Saturday, skies will be mostly clear with increasing high clouds in the afternoon.
Skies on Sunday will be mostly clear with increasing cloudiness from time to time.
Temperatures on Friday are expected to drop and then rise on Saturday. Sunday's temps will remain almost the same as Saturday's, fluctuating a little above the average climatic values.
