Newsroom

The Executives Club of Cyprus is delighted to announce the forthcoming Youth Tech Fest Cyprus 2023, accessible at www.youthtechfest.com.

Youth Tech Fest Cyprus, organized in collaboration with the University of Nicosia and under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth, is an exciting celebration of children's boundless curiosity encompassing technology, science, art, the environment, and entrepreneurship.

This significant event serves as a testament to the dedication of educators in cultivating well-informed and imaginative citizens for a society that thrives on perpetual technological advancement.

Youth Tech Fest Cyprus is designed for children aged between 6 and 18, irrespective of their school type, whether public or private, and regardless of their background or financial circumstances. The primary goal is to promote diversity within the technological landscape and ensure equal access to quality education for underprivileged children and those encountering learning or health-related challenges. We are proud to offer free participation to ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge educational technologies and gain valuable insights from globally acclaimed leaders within the field.

This exceptional Festival encompasses three distinct events:

Exhibition: An exhilarating day replete with interactive showcases, workshops, lectures, and hands-on activities, all led by educators, engineers, scientists, and developers. Families are encouraged to participate together, or parents may choose to let their children independently engage in activities tailored to their specific age group.

Congress: Esteemed international experts and industry leaders will share their expertise and the latest technological trends with educators based in Cyprus, school administrators, policymakers, and representatives of the business community. The overarching objective is to facilitate enduring collaborative relationships and jointly create programs and activities that empower the next generation to innovate, create, learn, and drive positive social and economic change. Distinguished speakers include leaders from the European Commission, the Royal Institution (UK), Shell, Google, WiTEC EU, among others.

Awards: The award ceremony is designed to recognize the contributions of every participating school in the field of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The Festival encourages participation, collaboration, inclusion, and the pursuit of excellence, with no predefined rankings – each project is celebrated, and every mentor is duly acknowledged.
