Government spokesman Kyriakos Koushos said Friday that a PCR test confirmed he was positive for coronavirus.
In a written statement, Koushos said he has been in self-isolation since Monday after coming into contact with a confirmed case.
The spokesman said he got tested on Friday, with the result coming back positive.
He said he will be remaining in isolation for at least the next ten days, noting that he has yet to develop any symptoms.
