Newsroom

Today, our beautiful island will experience the effects of a weak low-pressure system. Expect occasional clouds throughout the day, which could bring isolated showers. There's also a chance of thunderstorms, particularly in the mountains, the north, and interior regions during the midday and afternoon hours.

Winds will start out light from the southeast to southwest at around 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to the southwest to northwest and picking up to 3 to 4 Beaufort, with coastal areas seeing temporary moderate winds at 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy, with the southern coast experiencing a bit more turbulence in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to about 30 degrees Celsius inland, 27 degrees along the coast, and 21 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will clear up, though we'll see an increase in low clouds, especially along the coast. Winds will continue from the southwest to northwest at 3 Beaufort, occasionally reaching 3 to 4 Beaufort in some areas. The sea will stay mostly calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 16 degrees Celsius inland, 18 degrees on the coast, and a cool 10 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Thursday, the weather will start off mostly clear, but clouds developing in the midday and afternoon may bring isolated showers, mainly in the mountains and interior.

Friday and Saturday look to be mostly clear. Temperatures will hold steady through Friday but will rise on Saturday, going above the average for this time of year.
