On Monday evening, as part of routine traffic controls, the Paphos police made a significant interception in a village within the Paphos district. At approximately 19:20, law enforcement officers stopped a vehicle and made a startling discovery.
Upon conducting a thorough inspection, it was revealed that the driver of the vehicle was a minor, and their passenger was also a minor.
What's more, the underage driver was operating the vehicle with a learner's permit, devoid of insurance, a certificate of fitness, a registration certificate, and with a cancelled registration.
Additionally, the "E" badge required for the vehicle was conspicuously absent.
The vehicle has been impounded by the Paphos Traffic Police, who have initiated an investigation into the case.
