A 65-year-old pedestrian was fatally run over by a driver as he was attempting to cross a Nicosia road.
The unfortunate victim of the clash, named Iosif Alexiades, was run over at around 2.40pm in Nicosia. Police will be investigating the causes of the fatal accident.
The family of the victim has been notified, police said.
