Coronavirus cases reached 923 in the Republic of Cyprus on Thursday after one new case was announced by the Health Ministry’s epidemiological team.
The new case, discovered through contact tracing, was found at a Paphos kindergarten.
Thursday saw a bulk of 2,647 samples checked for the virus.
The second phase of the relaxation of measures, which kicked off on Thursday with all restrictions on movement and curfew scrapped, “is particularly important, as on it depend further planning,” Leondios Kostrikis said.
