Unstable weather conditions continue to affect Cyprus for the rest of the week, with periods of sunshine punctuated by cloudy skies and pop-up showers including thunderstorms.
Thursday weather will be sunny at times with periods of cloudy skies, with chances of showers and possible isolated thunderstorms mainly at noon and in the afternoon.
Daytime highs will reach 19 degrees Celsius inland and in coastal regions, while it will be 6 high up in the mountains.
Evening skies will remain partly cloudy with chances of local showers and possibly storms mainly in coastal areas, while parts of the island will be affected by foggy conditions. Evening temperatures will drop to 5 degrees inland, around 10 along the coast, and 1 higher up where frost is expected to form overnight.
Friday temperatures will drop slightly when mixed weather conditions will continue while Saturday evening will become mostly cloudy with thunderstorms pounding coastal areas.
Sunday skies will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, while weather conditions could be severe at times along with heavy southwesterly winds affecting leeward areas.
Snow is also expected this week on Troodos Mountains.
