The 'Baby Grant' continues: Amounts and Benefits

It is still possible to receive the "Baby Grant" which is a subsidy of 1,750 euros given to eligible recipients and includes supplies such as furniture, linens, items for personal hygiene and care, and clothing for up to two years.

It is emphasized that even though the 2014–2020 programming period ended on December 31, 2022, the Project will continue, according to a response from Mr. Kyriakos Kousios, Minister of Labor and Social Insurance, that reached the House of Representatives on January 30, 2023.

According to information obtained from the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, which is currently in charge of the "Baby Grant Program," 2,800 families have benefitted since the program began on January 1, 2018, and a total of €3,600,000 has been doled out.
