Transport minster Yiannis Karousos, defence minister Charalambos Petrides and the deputy shipping minister Vasilis Demetriades all went into isolation on Tuesday after a close associate of the transport minister tested positive for the virus.
Petrides and Demetriades had met with Karousos recently, and were instructed to isolate as potential contacts.
The positive case had participated in a meeting of the Germasogeia municipal council, resulting in the Germasogeia mayor and all members of the council also instructed to isolate.
