Monday (28/07) is bringing the heat with inland areas roasting at 41°C, while the mountains offer a “cool” 33°C. A low-pressure system and a warm air mass have joined forces to make things extra toasty.
This morning might start off with some sneaky low clouds or fog along the coast, just to keep things interesting. The rest of the day will be mostly clear, with winds starting from the southeast and behaving at 3 Beaufort before shifting southwest to northwest and occasionally showing some attitude along the southern coast, where they could hit 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough, so maybe don’t plan your perfect hair day by the beach.
By tonight, skies remain mostly clear, but if you’re up early you might spot some fog creeping in. Winds will calm down and seas will smooth out. Temperatures finally take a breather, dropping to around 24°C inland and on the coasts, and a refreshing 21°C up in the mountains.
Looking ahead to Tuesday through Thursday, expect more sunny days with a few extra clouds here and there. Temperatures will slowly slide back to what’s considered normal for this time of year, so relief is on the horizon.
