Wiz presents “30 Best Bars Cyprus,” a special evening dedicated to innovation, creativity, and quality in every cocktail poured. On July 6, 2026, Cyprus will host this new institution for the first time — an initiative aimed at highlighting and rewarding excellence in hospitality and modern bar culture.
The event will take place at the ETKO venue in Limassol, turning it into a central meeting point for industry professionals and cocktail enthusiasts alike.
The selection process is based on strict international standards, ensuring transparency, credibility, and consistency in identifying the country’s top bars. To support this mission, Wiz brings to Cyprus two highly influential figures from the global bar scene — Sandrae Lawrence and Gary Sharpen, founders of the internationally renowned platform 'The Cocktail Lovers'.
The judging panel also includes Deni Kalivoka, journalist, strategic consultant, and co-owner of howtobar.com, one of the most respected voices in the cocktail and spirits industry; Panayiotis Diogenous, Luxury Editor at Kathimerini, who also works in the hospitality sector in the United Kingdom; Yiannos Ioannou, Creative & Communications Director of the SppMedia Group; and Michalis Michailidis, Editor-in-Chief of Wizguide.
Alongside the awards ceremony, the 7th Cyprus Cocktail Festival will also take place. The 10 winning bars will present their signature cocktails to the public, offering guests a chance to experience their creations firsthand. The evening will conclude with a major after-party hosted by Deejay Radio 93.5, bringing together taste, music, and entertainment in one complete experience.
