17-year-old injured in Paphos scooter crash

Paphos teen's scooter collision under investigation

A 17-year-old boy riding a scooter was involved in a collision on Wednesday evening in Paphos along the coastal road connecting Chloraka and Paphos.

According to the authorities, the teenager was on his scooter, traveling from the Chloraka area toward Coral Bay. In the midst of ongoing investigations, a driver emerged from a hotel parking lot on the avenue, heading towards Paphos, and collided with the young man's scooter.

The 17-year-old was subsequently transported to the Accident and Emergency Department at Paphos General Hospital. The attending physician diagnosed him with a left femur fracture.

While his condition is described as serious, it is reported that he is now out of immediate danger.

The Paphos Traffic Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
