A six year old child died today at a private clinic in Nicosia.
According to news sources, the child underwent a scheduled heart operation on Tuesday the 28th of September, but passed away today from what seem to be complications.
The exact cause of death has yet to be established and police are investigating the case.
The grief stricken parents are awaiting the results of an autopsy. No statements have been made.
