Police confiscated a phone and a computer belonging to the 63-year-old

A 63-year-old Larnaca resident was arrested on Thursday in connection with a child pornography case under investigation by police.
Police said they launched investigations after receiving information from Europol regarding a social media user who sent another user a video containing child pornography content.
The cybercrime unit found evidence linking the 63-year-old with the Interpol report, leading to his arrest and detention, while a phone he had in his possession was confiscated and will be scientifically examined.
A search at the 63-year-old’s house in Larnaca led to the confiscation of a computer, which will also be examined.
