A weekend of weather wonders

Unpredictable showers and calm seas

Newsroom

A shift in atmospheric conditions is set to influence the weather in our area as weak high pressure makes its presence felt. Here's what you can expect over the next few days:

The day will be marked by intermittent cloud cover, particularly in the mountains, interior, and east, leading to isolated showers during midday and early afternoon. Initially, winds will be light and variable, around 3 Beaufort, before transitioning to mainly southwest to northwest with light to moderate speeds, ranging from 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea is forecasted to be relatively calm but may become slightly rough at times. As for temperatures, they are expected to reach around 28 degrees in the interior and along the coast, with the higher mountains experiencing a cooler 18 degrees.

Clear skies will dominate the night, accompanied by light winds mainly from the northwest to northeast at 3 Beaufort, leading to calm to slightly choppy seas. Temperatures are anticipated to drop to 15 degrees inland, around 18 degrees on the coast, and 11 degrees in the higher mountainous regions.

The upcoming Saturday is set to be mostly clear, although there might be occasional cloud cover.

The trend of mostly clear conditions is expected to continue, with occasional high clouds. Temperatures on Saturday are unlikely to show significant variations, remaining close to average climatic values, but a gradual rise is anticipated as we move into Monday.
