Beth Davies, a renowned HR leader known for her pivotal roles at Tesla and Apple, spoke today at the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit, which is currently underway at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. Davies, with over 25 years of leadership experience at top companies like Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, and Gap, shared insights into fostering innovation, building company culture, and developing talent in fast-growing organizations.
In her keynote, Davies reflected on her time at Tesla, where she oversaw the company’s rapid expansion from 600 to 33,000 employees. She highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong, innovative culture during periods of intense growth. Davies also discussed her contributions to Apple's global retail expansion and her role in training over 4,000 employees for the iconic 2007 iPhone launch.
Her address was a key moment in the summit’s broader focus on “Digital Democracy,” exploring how digital transformation is reshaping industries, businesses, and society. The event continues with discussions on participatory democracy, AI-driven communication, and medical innovation, drawing over 5,000 attendees.
The summit, sponsored by the Bank of Cyprus and CYTA, is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency.
