Collision spurs arrest for criminal damage, no injuries reported

In the early hours of this morning, armed police swiftly responded after a car crashed into the main entrance of Buckingham Palace. A man was arrested for criminal damage, and dramatic footage captured officers shouting, 'Keep your hands on your head!'

Witnesses reported a loud bang as the vehicle rammed into the gates of the renowned royal residence in central London. One witness recounted, "I heard a loud bang, and I looked over, and the car had crashed into Buckingham Palace. Police were on the scene quickly, and they apprehended the man."

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest, stating, "At approximately 02:33hrs on Saturday, 09 March, a car collided with the gates of Buckingham Palace. Armed officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of criminal damage. He was taken to the hospital. There were no reports of any injuries. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
