Today, expect occasional light dust particles lingering in the atmosphere following the dispersal of local fog and low clouds. Throughout the day, intermittent moderate cloud cover will prevail, particularly in the afternoon when localized cloud build-up may lead to isolated showers and sporadic thunderstorms, mainly in the northern half of the island, mountainous areas, and possibly southeastern regions.
Winds will mainly blow from the northeast to southeast, light to locally moderate, reaching speeds of 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. Sea conditions will range from calm to slightly choppy, becoming locally rough in the west later on. Temperatures will rise to around 20 degrees Celsius inland, in the south, west, and east coasts, around 21 degrees Celsius on northern coasts, and around 13 degrees Celsius in higher elevated areas.
Tonight, expect temporary moderate cloud cover. Winds will predominantly blow from the northeast to east and locally variable, light to occasionally moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort, though locally reaching strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, on eastern and southeastern coasts. Seas will generally be slightly choppy, becoming choppy in the east. Temperatures will drop to around 9 degrees Celsius inland, around 13 degrees Celsius on eastern coasts, around 11 degrees Celsius on other coasts, and around 5 degrees Celsius in higher elevated areas.
On Tuesday, the weather will gradually become mainly sunny; however, in the afternoon, localized increased cloudiness may result in isolated showers, primarily in southwestern mountainous regions. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be predominantly sunny, although intermittent high cloud cover may be observed on Wednesday.
Temperature-wise, Tuesday will see little change, but by Thursday, temperatures will gradually rise, significantly surpassing average climatic values.
