A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the area, bringing varying weather conditions throughout the day.
Today, residents can expect locally increased cloud cover at times, potentially leading to isolated showers, mainly in the mountainous regions and some interior areas. Winds will start off light and variable at 3 Beaufort but will shift to a southwest to northwest direction later in the day, becoming weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures are forecast to reach 36 degrees Celsius in the interior, 31 degrees on the west coast, around 32 degrees on other coasts, and 29 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will clear up for the most part, though occasional low clouds may appear. Winds will predominantly blow from the northwest to northeast, remaining light at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 24 degrees Celsius in the interior and coastal areas, and to 18 degrees in the higher mountains.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the weather will feature occasional patches of increased cloud cover, particularly in the afternoon and early evening. This may lead to isolated showers, mainly in mountainous regions and interior areas.
For Sunday and Monday, partly cloudy skies are expected with isolated showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon and early evening, especially over the highlands and interior regions.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually over the next three days, staying close to or slightly above average for this time of year.
