Authorities are warning drivers on specific mountain roads to be extra cautious due to rockslide caused by overnight rainfall.
According to officials, rockslides occurred on roads connecting Pedoulas with Kambos and Kambnos with Orkondas in the Troodos mountains.
Drivers using these roads and in surrounding areas are urged to drive defensively, at low speeds and keeping safe distances from other vehicles.
Officials are also pleasing with the public to use discretion in yielding for other vehicles when and where it might be necessary, given the particularly strenuous road conditions in the mountains and foothills.
Traffic reports in the mountains have remained clear of any serious incidents Thursday morning, according to Kathimerini Cyprus.
