Earthquake rattles Cyprus

There have been no reports of damages

A magnitute 4.8 earthquake struck Cyprus at 14:09 local time according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The epicenter of the earthquake was pinpointed offshore, 10km south of Limassol.

According to the Cyprus Geological Survey Department this earthquake is not related to the Zakynthos seismic events that shook the Ionian island last week.
