An explosion occurred around 3:30 on Friday, June 23 causing a disturbance in an area of Limassol.
According to the Police, a homemade low-power explosive device detonated, placed at the entrance of the "Progress" club on Agias Sofias Street. It should be noted that the Limassol branch of Omonia FC and the Green Boutique of the city are housed there.
The explosion caused extensive damage.
The scene has been cordoned off, and the Police are conducting investigations.
