Authorities have arrested four individuals in connection with the recent bomb attack on a Central Prison officer's vehicle, marking significant developments in the case.
The Nicosia CID conducted a raid at the Central Prison, leading to the arrests of two suspects, aged 42 and 39. During the raid, authorities discovered mobile phones and drugs in the suspects' possession. One of the suspects is already detained for the murder of Thanasis Kalogeropoulos, while the other is involved in a drug case.
In a concurrent operation, authorities apprehended two more individuals, aged 27 and 30, in the Nicosia District. Several mobile phones were confiscated from these suspects and are being examined further.
The arson attack on the Central Prison officer's vehicle occurred in the early hours of Thursday, July 4, in Nicosia.
