Newsroom

Happy Friday! Today’s forecast is bringing some fun twists—brace yourself for scattered thunderstorms across parts of the island, mainly inland and in the mountains. These storms could pack a punch with localized showers, gusty winds, and even hail! The rain intensity may hit between 35-55mm per hour, but not to worry—it'll pass quickly!  Most of the island will enjoy plenty of sunshine with some clouds rolling in, and temperatures reaching a toasty 36°C inland, 31°C along the western coasts**, and a comfy 25°C in the mountains. Perfect weather for a mixed bag of adventure!

The winds will start off calm but will pick up speed in the afternoon, especially near the southern coasts, where they’ll reach 4-5 Beaufort. Things might get a little breezy during those thunderstorms, so watch out for the wind!

Tonight, skies will be mostly clear, though some low clouds could sneak in. Winds will settle down to 3 Beaufort, and the sea will remain gentle, perfect for a quiet evening by the water. Temperatures will dip to a pleasant 22°C inland, 24°C along the coast, and 18°C in the mountains—ideal for some stargazing after a fun Friday.

The weekend ahead brings more sunshine with some afternoon clouds in the mountains and inland areas, which might turn into isolated showers or thunderstorms—just enough drama to keep it interesting! Monday looks calm with mostly clear skies and temperatures staying consistent with the seasonal averages.

Grab your umbrellas and sunscreen, folks, because today’s weather is ready to give you an exciting Friday and an adventurous weekend ahead!
