Greek Cypriot arrested in occupied territory

The 26-year-old awaits sentencing within 20 days


As of last Monday (17/07), a 26-year-old Greek Cypriot is in the hands of the occupying authorities after illegally entering a military area in the pseudo-state.

According to information from the Police, the 26-year-old was in his car in the occupied territories and lost his way while attempting to reach the free areas, which resulted in him entering a military zone of the pseudo-state.

The occupying authorities arrested the 26-year-old, and yesterday (19/07), he was brought before the pseudo-court, which issued a "detention order" against him.

The young Greek Cypriot will find out his sentence within 20 days.
