Hail is a possibility, and winds are set to shift and strengthen. Rainfall intensity may vary between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
Today's weather will be mainly cloudy with local showers and isolated storms, starting in the western half of the island and gradually spreading to other areas.
Thunderstorms might bring hail. Higher mountain areas might even experience snow or sleet. Winds will initially be mild to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming mainly southwest to west, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. Seas will be turbulent, temporarily becoming wavy in the afternoon.
