Authorities are investigating a robbery case involving a 36-year-old Russian entrepreneur who fell victim to a theft during a cryptocurrency transaction.

According to reports, the entrepreneur arranged a meeting via an online platform with an unknown individual for the purchase of cryptocurrencies. The encounter took place in the Germasogeia area on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 2, in a parking area, with the entrepreneur seated inside his vehicle in the front seat.

Subsequently, the individual with whom the 36-year-old had scheduled the meeting entered the vehicle and sat in the back. As the Russian entrepreneur counted the money in a suitcase, the suspect grabbed him by the neck, while two other individuals wearing hoodies entered the vehicle.

The three suspects managed to snatch the suitcase containing €51,000. Despite the entrepreneur's pursuit, the perpetrators fled the scene.

Authorities are currently searching for a 35-year-old suspect in connection with the case, while investigations are ongoing to locate the other two individuals involved.
