Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos has called for an end to the occupation and a move towards peace on the 50th anniversary of the second phase of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
In a message posted on 'X', Kombos emphasized the need to overcome the current stalemate and return to negotiations aimed at a resolution within the UN framework.
He stated, “We must not and will not forget. Our efforts to break the deadlock and resume talks will continue without pause, always within the parameters set by the UN. It’s time to end the occupation, heal the wounds, and live together in harmony. Φτάνει. Yeter. Enough.”
We do not, and will not, Forget.
