A 24-year-old resident of Larnaca was arrested and detained yesterday in order to facilitate investigations into child pornography.
According to Cyprus Police, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the 24-year old man after a tip from Europol alleged that he uploaded 3 videos through his social networking platform showing the sexual abuse of minors.
Two mobile phones and a computer were confiscated during a search of the man's house yesterday morning and will be used as evidence.
The Cybercrime Unit of the Cyprus Police continues the examinations.
