Periods of sunshine and cloudy skies, slight drop and rain chances by midweek

Mixed weather is expected on Monday in Cyprus, with both cloudy skies and periods of sunshine throughout the day, while rainy and sunny days are also expected throughout the week.

A low pressure system is affecting the island with early morning fog in the interior and moderate winds later in the day. Fair skies are expected Monday morning, with both periods of sunshine and cloud formations.

Temperature highs will reach 20 degrees Celsius inland, 21 along coastal regions, while it will be 13 degrees high up in the mountains.

Mixed weather is set to continue on Tuesday, with coastal showers in the afternoon and chances of showers later in the evening

Fair skies are expected in the evening, with mostly clear skies most of the time but also increasing cloud formations on and off.

Temperature lows will drop to 6 degrees Celsius in the interior, around 10 along coastal regions, while it will be 3 degrees high up in the mountains where frost is also expected to form overnight.

Mixed weather is set to continue on Tuesday, with both periods of sunshine and cloudy skies throughout the day, while coastal showers are expected in the afternoon, including chances of showers later in the evening.

A slight gradual drop in temperature is expected on Tuesday until Wednesday, with chances of snow or sleet expected to fall on Troodos mountains, while overall levels by Thursday will remain around or slightly above normal averages for this time of the year.
