New coronavirus information hotline set up

The 1450 hotline will serve any informational needs relating to the virus, easing pressure off the 1420 symptom-reporting hotline

Newsroom

The Ministry of Health launched a new hotline (1450) on Friday to cater to people seeking information on coronavirus, as recent days saw a widespread misuse of the 1420 call centre that was set up for the reporting of symptoms so that checks may be conducted on suspected cases.

The new hotline, 1450, will be available to the public around the clock and will serve any informational needs relating to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 1420 hotline will remain in operation exclusively for people wishing to report any concerning symptoms which may relate to coronavirus.
