A new decree issued Tuesday by Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou allows sports competitions to take place in the presence of fans, both indoors and outdoors.
The new decree also allows the use of locker rooms and other indoor infrastructure, on condition that health and safety guidelines issued by the Health Ministry and the Cyprus Sports Organization are followed.
Spectators are now also allowed at horse races, where health and safety guidelines will also have to be applied.
