An approaching high-pressure system could finally be the game changer as we head into the weekend, following days of dust and cranky weather all around the island.
Friday weather will be mostly clear but with intervals of partly cloudy skies throughout the day. Temperatures will reach 23° Celsius inland, 21° in the south and eastern parts of the island, about 20° out in the west and northern shores, and 12° on the mountains.

In the evening, weather will be mostly clear and later temperatures will drop to 8° inland, 10° in the north, around 11° in the rest of the coastal regions, and 7° on the mountains.
On the weekend as well as Monday there will be periods of sunshine punctuated by cloudy skies. Inland temperatures will reach 23° on Saturday, 24° on Sunday, and 25° on Monday. The 3-day forecast also shows the south and western parts in the low 20's, while the north will see a rise from 23° to 24°. Mountain highs will reach 17°.
No dust warnings have been issued by authorities.
