Τhe main points of the government's energy strategy will be presented to representatives of companies involved internationally in the natural gas and electricity supply chain, during a two-day workshop titled "The Cyprus Gateway: Natural Gas to Power and Liquefaction" taking place on Monday and Tuesday, in Nicosia.
An official press release notes that the workshop, organised by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry in collaboration with the Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company (CHC), will be addressed by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Minister of Energy, George Papanastasiou.
The two will present the main points of the government's energy strategy to the participants, who are representatives of companies involved internationally in the natural gas and electricity supply chain.
The workshop's programme includes specialized presentations on specific areas of the new designs of the Republic of Cyprus by technocrats from the Ministry and CHC, as well as discussions on the presentations.
In addition, to obtain the best possible feedback from the representatives of the participating companies, the Minister of Energy and his associates have scheduled private meetings with them on Monday and Tuesday.
