Parts of Cyprus are on storm watch for Tuesday, with a chance of heavy rain and even hail later in the afternoon and temperatures not exceeding low-30’s.
Weather will be mostly clear during the early part of Tuesday with a low pressure system affecting the area over the island.
But cloudy skies will set in later in the afternoon, with a chance of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains, inland, and in the northern parts.
There is also a chance of hail in some parts of the island under heavy rain, according to the official weather forecast.

High temperatures are expected to reach 33° Celsius inland, around 28° in the east and south, 27° in all other coastal regions and 22° up in the mountains.
Evening weather is expected to remain mostly clear between periods of cloudy skies, mainly near the coastal areas.
Low temperatures are expected to drop down to 17° Celsius inland as well as in the west and north, 19° in all other coastal regions and 10° up in the mountains.
Similar mixed weather is expected for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with mostly clear weather interchanging with cloudy skies and afternoon rain.
A slight temperature drop on Wednesday, primarily inland and on the mountains, is expected to last in the coming days.
