The Cyprus President’s State of the Union address is to take place on Monday in the presence of representatives of the Legislative and Judiciary, and other officials, Government Spokesperson, Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on Thursday.
He said that the President would present the government's planning for 2024, adding that this was included in its policy programme for institutional reforms that contribute, as he said, to the restructuring of the State.
This, he added, is turning into an institution that will further strengthen accountability and will “catalytically” contribute to the transparent and timely communication of what the government is planning and has on track for implementation.
According to the Spokesperson, the members of the Legislature, representatives of the Judiciary, of the Local Government, members of the Boards of Directors of the Semi-Governmental Organisations “which are the executive arms of government policy”, independent officials, and social partners have been invited to attend.
The presentation will be broadcast live by CyBC2, he noted.
